Reverend Fisher was the Foundation Headmaster of The Armidale School, (TAS) and second Headmaster at Tudor House School from 1906-1916. He held his first service at Christ Church Bong Bong in 1905 and his last in June 1916 when he died of appendicitis aged 54. Old Tudorians and past students raised money for a stained glass window in his memory, and it can be seen in the church on the southern wall. The school had a close relationship with the Church, the boys pumping the bellows for the organ until it was electrified, and before Tudor House had it’s own chapel.
